charmed by the architecture
clean room professional staff
the room was spacious and clean. the pool facilities were well-kept, with convenient changing rooms and provided towels. the staff was very friendly and professional, especially in the restaurant, and at the concierge service.
i could hear people talking through the walls, which affected sleep quality. the noise came from adjacent rooms due to thin walls, this was a significant inconvenience. there were giggles and loud conversations into the late hours.

the staff displayed really good professionalism and courtesy , promptly addressing all inquiries. valet service was usually efficient, however calling ahead ensured the car was ready at the requested time was nice.

Acceptable, But a Few Issues
warm room unresponsive maintenance
The location is pretty good, I will give them that.
The room was too warm and I could not adjust the temperature. It was quite unpleasant. I called maintenance, but they never came. I was forced to open the window.

the location was fantastic as i wanted to see government facilities. many tours were available nearby. employees were very good too assist me.

valet service easy access friendly staff
I found the valet service excellent. It provided efficient assistance. The location allowed easy access to attractions. Everything was within walking distance. The staff demonstrated friendliness. The gold level lounge was a highlight. I enjoyed breakfast and canapés there.
My room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. This was somewhat off-putting. The blanket was also thin.

Mixed Feelings at Historic Hotel
ineffective climate control tripping hazard
The room I was given was far from satisfactory. I found a raised spot under the not new carpet. It was a tripping hazard, especially since it was not visible. The climate control was also ineffective so the room remained warm despite the cold weather outside.

prompt service helpful staff cleanliness standard
The valet service was prompt. The hotel staff were consistently helpful. Housekeeping maintained a high standard of cleanliness in the room. I found the spacious gym had all necessary equipment for a full workout.
I noticed noise from adjacent rooms was easily audible.

The hotel location is central. It made access to nearby attractions very easy. The staff at the front desk were helpful. They answered all my questions about local amenities.
The valet parking cost was significant. It added an unexpected expense to my stay. Waiting for my car took longer than expected. The room lacked sufficient soundproofing. Noise from neighboring rooms was audible.
